What is SDC Media?
SDC Media is a producer of digital stories for video marketing, video production, corporate video and social media.
We create rich stories and narratives about your cause or brand and weave them with images, video, music and voice to add a human dimension filled with colourful characters, situations, experiences and insights.

We honed our skills in professional media and now apply them to the needs of non-profits, organizations and businesses focused on strengthening commitment to a cause and loyalty to a brand.
Steven Hunt is the principal storyteller and producer at SDC Media.He has worked in Latin America and Africa on broadcast and communications projects. His productions have appeared on Canadian, European and New Zealand television.
Dave Johnson completed his Masters of Fine Arts at Concordia University with a focus in film production, gained professional experience as a sound FX engineer and editor, location sound recorder, production/ post-production manager and consultant, freelance videographer, festival programmer, and instructor.
These eclectic experiences represent Dave’s take charge attitude, professionalism, and knowledge in film production.
Dr. Jennifer Newman, R. Psych., is a registered psychologist in British Columbia and brings 16 years of experience having coached, trained, presented and taught in Canada, the United States and South Africa.
Jennifer is a regular contributor to CBC radio in BC and writes a workplace column in The Vancouver Sun.
Jennifer is currently working with us on Bully-Free-Zone.com a website devoted to issues around Workplace Bullying.
Fred Yackman is a senior instructional designer with over 25 years experience in designing and writing training courses including, “Train the Trainer” for classroom delivery, print, video and multimedia.
His productions have appeared on Canadian, European and New Zealand television.
He is also the president of Yackman Communications.
